Working with Relative Clauses

Revise the sentence pairs below into a single sentence by turning the bold-faced sentence into a relative clause. Determine whether the relative clause needs to be separated from the rest of the sentence by a comma. Write your finished sentences in the blanks provided.

example:

Commander Stephen was concerned about a U-boat.

The Admiralty's situation reports had placed the U-boat to the north of the convoy.

Commander Stephen was concerned about a U-boat, which the Admiralty's situation reports had placed to the north of the convoy.
