Quotations, Paraphrases, Plagiarism and Copyright

The reader of a report expects that the work presented is that of the authors named on the report. However, this does not mean that only work done by these authors must appear in a report. Information gathered from other sources can be included if proper reference is given. The two methods commonly used are quotation and paraphrasing.
